CSE Networking Groups

Centre for Assessment has setup a range of networking groups to help holders of CSE gain more value from their certification.

CSE-certified organisation in the public, housing or library service sector are welcome and encouraged to come to our in-person or online networking groups.  This is a great opportunity for you to connect with like-minded colleague, share your experiences of CSE certification, and gain practical ideas that you can take back to your organisation.

LIBRARY SERVICES

Following its first meeting in 2019, the group meets 3-4 times per year, either in-person or online.  Its primary purpose is to add value to the experience of library services engaged with Customer Service Excellence certification.

Chaired by Derek MacKenzie (Head of User Services at City, University of London), the group has some 15 library members, mainly from the academic sector.  Meetings cover updates from CfA and CSE compliance, benchmarking, challenges and opportunities, innovation, and sharing best practice.

If you are a library service certified to the Customer Service Excellence Standard through CfA, or are considering applying for certification, you will be warmly welcome to attend meetings.  Please contact cse@centreforassessment.co.uk.

Customer Service Excellence

HOUSING SERVICES

Many housing associations chose CSE certification to help provide the best possibly experience for their tenants.  The scheme has a proven track record of driving customer-focused change and innovation, improving the relationship between individuals and their housing provider.

In an increasingly complex and challenging sector, this group brings together CSE holders in the housing space, allowing members to share their experiences, discuss new ideas, and to make use of data to inform decisions.

Richard Cave, an independent housing consultant and CSE specialist, chairs this group.  Meeting quarterly, Richard shares his knowledge of current issues within the sector and provides a platform for high quality discussion and engagement with the principles of the CSE scheme.

To join the group or to find out more about the benefits it could bring to your housing association, email cse@centreforassessment.co.uk and we will get back to you.

Customer Service Excellence

PUBLIC SECTOR

Customer Service Excellence has always been a popular option for public sector organisations, finding a natural home within large Whitehall department and local authorities alike.  This group aims to bring together like minded CSE-certified organisations that have a passion for providing the best possible experience for those they serve.

CfA’s public sector network is led by Di Smith – one of our lead assessors with a vast experience within the public sector.  Di chairs quarterly online meetings in which members are encouraged to network, share ideas about CSE compliance and wider customer service themes, celebrate successes and seek advice for current challenges.

Any public sector organisation certified to CSE or considering certification will benefit from joining this group.  Drop us a line at cse@centreforassessment.co.uk and we will discuss the group with you, or add you to the online invitation list.
