This course is suitable for anyone who is working with or around food, who will be legally required to have some form of training in food safety. It is intended to provide a basis for more advanced studies in all aspects of food hygiene

What are the aims of the course?

Anyone working with or around food will require a good understanding of food safety. This course is designed to provide candidates with an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice.

What will I achieve?

This is a nationally recognised course and, following a short examination, successful participants will receive the Level 2 Food Safety in Catering qualification.

This course is an Ofqual regulated qualification.
