Cheshire West and Chester Council's Legal Services team consists of 45 fee earners undertaking a comprehensive range of legal work across distinct teams including Contracts and Governance, Safeguarding and Litigation and Environment, Property, and Employment.
A Lexcel accreditation provides a flexible, supportive management framework to help practices and in-house legal departments improve operations and manage risk effectively. It helps to create a focused working environment where accreditation with the standard evidences a commitment to the delivery of quality service.
“The Lexcel framework has provided a mechanism for reviewing processes, practices, and procedures that help to identify best practice. The feedback received from clients since working with the Standard has been consistently positive.” Explains Legal Assistant, Elizabeth Corner.
Achieving Lexcel has enabled Cheshire West & Cheshire County to implement a framework which will assist them in standardising working practices and achieve a widely recognised and respected quality mark.
“Moving forward, the team will utilise the framework to continue to gain operational efficiencies and to consolidate on working practices and procedures to deliver a quality assured and externally accredited service to clients.”
All of us here at Centre for Assessment would like to pass on our congratulations to Cheshire West & Cheshire for all their hard work and also the positive impact Lexcel has had on them and their internal processes.
