I worked as a Lead Auditor for 4 years for a UKAS approved certification body. I went self employed in May 2022 to aim to get more consultancy based experience and work with end users and clients and look to how their procedures and processes can be streamlined rather than auditing such companies to gain certification to vary my workload.

Prior to working as a Lead Auditor, I had experience of implementing an ISO14001 for a engineering/waste management company who provided these services to the nuclear sector.

Prior to working as a Lead Auditor, I had experience of implementing an ISO14001 for a engineering/waste management company who provided these services to the nuclear sector. I also worked as an environmental regulator in both Scotland (for SEPA) and New Zealand

Prior to working as a Lead Auditor, my career was varied and I never found a position that provided me with job satisfaction and long term security, however I feel this experience has given me confidence as an ISO auditor as I have a good understanding of how business's function and I can provide business's OFIs or make observations that if implemented help streamline their own business operations.
