I have over twenty-eight years' experience in the certification and assessment industry. I worked as a full time Lead Assessor, Environmental Specialist and Client Manager for The British Standards Institute for twenty one years. Responsible for carrying out third party assessments in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, PAS99, and NHSS 2a, 2c, 12 and 18, mainly in the construction, transport, health, agriculture and service sector industries.

I have been self-employed since 2011, and have continued to work for certification bodies, including Centre for Assessment, together with acting as a consultant for a number of businesses in the North of England.

• Responsible for carrying out third party integrated, combined and single standard assessments on behalf of a number of certification bodies (BSI and CFA) in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, OHSAS18001:2007, ISO 45001:2018, PAS99:2012, and NHSS 2a, 2c, 12 and 18, mainly in the construction, transport, health, agriculture, and service sector industries.
• Carried out third party assessments on behalf of a number of certification bodies as an Environmental Specialist in all industry sectors, focusing on significant aspects and impacts, and legal compliance.
• Implemented a number of ISO14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS18001:2007, ISO 45001:2018  and Achilles Link Up management systems with successful outcomes  and recommendations.

• Carried out third party assessments as an Environmental Specialist in all industry sectors, focusing on significant aspects and impacts, and legal compliance.
• Managed teams of other BSI professionals on multi -site, multi-standard assessments.
• Responsible for themanagement of a number of Key Accounts within BSI, including publishing assessor guidance notes, account plans, and certification guidance.
• Designed and delivered a small number of training courses to BSI clients, including Environmental awareness and internal auditor training.
