Jason Hill – Founder & Lead Consultant Jason has circa 30 years’ management experience in both private sector and civil service having previously held prominent positions in the Ministry of Justice as ‘Senior Contracts Manager’ where he managed the team of London legal aid contract managers and was responsible for hundreds of civil and crime legal aid providers and the drive to become a digital agency. He was integral to the move towards financial stewardship and designed the annual CM audit process. Prior to this, Jason led several national projects such as the move to the Housing Court Duty Possession Scheme, strategic LAA lead for the Family Justice Board, Head of National not-for-profit driving the transition to the Unified Contract; Representative Body Consultant to CAB, Law Centers, Shelter, Justice Alliance, SRA, HM Courts, Police; he was Collaborative CM Lead for HR investigations, Operational Assurance, Official Investigations, and Insolvency/Debt Collection. He facilitated foreign delegations keen to understand how UK legal aid operated and was in direct regular contact with the Executive team and Ministers. Jason is an accomplished writer/speaker and presented at numerous legal aid provider training events some of which were held at The Law Society, Friends House Euston and even London Zoo! His early background in teaching makes him an engaging trainer, and as a canoe and British Cycling coach it is not surprising the Ministry of Justice rated him as a ‘mastery coach’, empowering not prescriptive. Jason has an excellent track record as a management consultant and is highly sought after. Indu Suri – Consultant Having achieved a 2:1 in LLB(Hons), Indu went on to study and successfully pass her Law Society Finals. She then commenced her career with the Legal Aid Board as a Quality Auditor and progressed rapidly to hold roles as Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Senior Contract Manager and still works very closely with HMCT.
Guy Booth – Consultant A commercially focused marketing and PR professional with broad experience in both public and private sectors. Guy is often in high demand and has led numerous projects with the British Tourist Board. As one of the TLC Legals team, he has also been hugely successful in civil legal aid tenders.
