Centre for Assessment has been named as the preferred Certification Body for the Textile Services Association. The TSA is an inclusive member-led organisation made up of over 250 organisations that protect, promotes and educates the textile services industry throughout the UK.
Centre for Assessment Operations Director Dave Harrison says, ‘We are delighted to be chosen as the preferred delivery partner for the TSA and look forward to delivering a range of auditing services for their members’
As the TSA’s chosen supplier, Centre for Assessment will provide auditing and certification against the internationally recognised standard, BS EN 14065 Laundry Processed Textiles Biocontamination control system to its partners. Holding certification demonstrates that a laundry recognises the relevant biocontamination hazards and has the necessary controls in place to reduce the likelihood or stop these hazards being present in the laundered textiles.
TSA’s Head of Membership & Communication Gillian Farrar says, “We chose Centre for Assessment because of their willingness to learn and understand our industry. We are excited to work with CfA to help us raise the standards across the industry and for our members to have access to a UK-based auditor.”
